Grammar is essential in good writing. There are four basic rules in grammar. Firstly, the basic principle which is the singular verb versus plural verb. Singular subject must match with singular verb, whereas plural subject must match with plural verb. For example, she is eating versus we are eating. Next, the indefinite pronoun is always followed by singular verb. Examples of indefinite pronoun are anyone, everyone, someone, no one and nobody. They are always followed by is, has and more singular verbs. For example, everyone is eating now. Besides, whether the indefinite pronoun are singular or plural depends on what they are referring to. If the subject is countable the indefinite pronoun is considered as plural. However, if it is an uncountable subject, the indefinite pronoun is always singular. For instant, some of the beads are versus some of the water is. Furthermore, together with, as well as and along with is totally different with and. For those phrases, the subject is just the first person it mentions, whereas and focuses on every people it mentions. For example, I stay along with my cousin (it only focuses on I) versus my cousin and I stay together (it focuses on both subjects).
Other than that, grammar also includes punctuation. Below are some common punctuation that we will use in writing.

Moreover, there are some confused words in English. Different spelling, just a and e can make a big difference. For example, stationary versus stationery. For example, Sally and Brandon are eating bread.
F = For
A = And
N = Nor
B = But
O = Or
Y = Yet
S = So
Thirdly, complex sentence is a sentence that consists of subordinating conjunction like because, furthermore, since, ever and so on. For example, Sally and Brandon are eating bread because they feel hungry. Knowing how to interchange with these three types of sentence structure will makes your writing becomes interesting.
